Surnames: POTTS, McCONNELL
Wm F. Potts was in this regiment and his record shows a Substitute J. A. McConnell. Both joined May 6, 1862 at Jonesboro, Clayton County GA, under Capt. W. H. Chapman. I am looking for information on J. A. McConnell and what relationship to Wm F. Potts. How did they Substitute for each other? Also would like information on this company and regiment.
