31st GEORGIA VOLUNTEER INFANTRY - CSA

I am the author of "A History of the 31st Georgia Volunteer Infantry", published in 1997 by Butternut And Blue, of Baltimore, Maryland.
The 31st Georgia belonged to the Lawton-Gordon-Evans brigade, which was part of the Second Corps, Army of Northern Virginia. This command saw action at Cold Harbor, Brawner's Farm, Harpers Ferry, Sharpsburg, Fredericksburg, Marye's Heights, Gettysburg, Mine Run, Wilderness, Spotsylvania, Ft. Stevens (DC), Monocacy, Winchester, Cedar Creek, Hatcher's Run, Fort Stedman, and Appomattox Court House, among other notable battles and engagements.
It is my hope, through this forum, that I can come into contact with others interested in the 31st Georgia. Though my book is in publication, I'm always looking for additional material pertaining to this regiment and the brave men and boys that served in it.
