"Hall, Green Franklin of Rison, Ark. was born Aug. 4, 1846 at Greenville Butler Co., Ala. - no other biographical data recorded - He enlisted at Newton, Dale Co., Ala. for 18 months and was assigned to Co. C, Infantry, Columbus, GA.
Certified by T. O. Stewart, Assessor of Cleveland Co., Ark. Apr. 29, 1912"

Co C Infantry listed, but no Regiment. 31st GA Vol Inf fits, but I can't find him on a roster. Any suggestions for other sources to check?
