Surnames: Starbuck/Waymire
Anyone with any info regarding these 2 regiments? I have the basics but am looking for more in-depth detail. My Great Grandfather X3 was James A. Starbuck, a Lt.in the 75th, was injured 3 times during his service which included the Batlles of Chattanoga, Chickamauga and the March to the Sea. My Great Grandfather X4 was Jacob Waymire, a Corporal in the 47th, was killed during action at Riddles Landing , Missouri during the Battle for Island #10. Any info, what so ever, will be much appriciated.
