I am not sure if he was a Civil War vet, but my mother's maiden name was Roberts and along with her known relatives in the cemetary in Martinsburg, Indiana is buried a soldier with this name on his tombstone. I now live in NJ and have no photos or anything of the stone. Can someone tell me if the person is from the Civil War or earlier? Thanks.
