My Great grandfather, Caswell Meek(s),was in the Caddo Militia in 1863 .I have been unable to find anything about this group. He is in the National Archives Records -just his name and that he was reported missing . Also his son Pleasant Meek was discharge from this Militia group. There must be some record of what happened to them. I haven't been able to find it and I have looked for 10 yrs. Any information will be greatly appreciated.
