Benjamin F. Chase - Co.C 20th Maine Vol. Infantry, applied for, and received a civil war pension (as per his civil war pension card). His widow also applied for, and received a pension.
You can order his pension records from the NARA. The complete packet, for $75, will include all records, up to 100 pages. The cheaper small packet would include only about 8 pgs. at most and you'd possibly be missing out on much important information.
