You can find a lot of information by contacting the National Archives in Washington DC. They can send you the military record for $25 and the full pension file for $75. The National Archives has a website and you can request the records from them. You will have to give them a credit card/debit card but if they do not find a record, you will not be charged. It sounds like you have quite a bit of information. The more info you have the better the chance of them finding something. Good luck
