I am trying to acquire any information available on William R. Rea an Australian born Civil War veteran; relating to his life, family, descendants and especially where he is buried. All I have is that William R. Rea was Born in Hooperstown, Australia. His residence was not listed, but he enlisted as a 27 year old Private, on 11/11/1863. On 11/24/1863 he mustered into "K" Co. Ohio 12th Cavalry. His date and method of discharge was not given. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated as I want to add him to the Memorial Website www.acwv.info.
