Having trouble reading signature on Discharge papers
Hi,
I have my gggrandfather John McGrath's 1st discharge paper (copy) and I am having trouble reading the signature of the captain of Co. G, 2nd regiment Pennsylvania Vol Infantry given at Harrisburg, Pa. I think it says Captain Benjamin H Sweeny. But not real sure it's H and Sweeny. Could someone help me with this?
