Looking for information on the Gamble family who lived in the Moundsville area during the time of the Civil War. William Clark Gamble would be my Great, Great Grandfather and he was in 12th West Virginia Infantry. He was captured at the Battle of New Market and was taken to Andersonville Prison. He survived and after the war he settled down in Glen Easton, WV just outside of Moundsville. He married Mary Cunningham and they had 3 children (Charles, Ruben, John).
