Re: Pvt Charles Atteberry
Private Charles I. Atteberry, Army Field Artillery of Vona is listed as having died in service in the 1941 Colo. AG "Roster of Men and Women Who Served in The World War From Colorado 1917-1918."
Kenneth is not listed as serving.
Charles Atteberry does not appear in the listing of those buried overseas in the ABMC database nor does he appear in the 1940s American Legion list of veterans buried in Colorado.
However there is a Charles Atteberry, Pvt. Battery A, 337th Field Artillery, 88th Infantry Division, who died October 9, 1918, buried in the "Europe Section" Site 1654, of Arlington National Cemetery, Virginia.
While not conclusive evidence, I would bet that is your Charles Atteberry.
