Might well be. Today Georgia Gulch is simply a valley with a tributary of the Swan River. It is about six miles east of Breckenridge in Summit County.
Starting about 1860 the same Georgia Gulch was the site of a gold mining camp that became known as Parkville. Parkville had a peak population of about 10,000 before it died in the 1870s.
