Hi,
I am looking details for Andrew Anderson, born about 1828 in Norway and lived in Walla Walla Washington from mid 1850s. Actually I first found Andrew from 1860 census for Fort Walla Walla (the 9th Infantry Regiment Company B), where he most probably served during Indian Wars. According to Andrew's obit Andrew went to east (1861?) for the northern cause when the Civil War had started and returned to Walla Walla after the war and remained there since as a blacksmith.

I would appreciate any additional information of Andrew and especially if someone can do a lookup for Andrew's possible entry in U.S. Army Register of Enlistments 1798-1914, which to my knowledge should include information of both Indian War and Civil War soldiers. Thank you!

Best regards,
Juha
