SALEM, OHIO – Rose Marie Baumann Farwell, 84, of Green Township, Salem, died at 6:35 p.m. Friday at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown, OHIO.
Rose was born June 18, 1923 in Johnson City, Tenn., the daughter of Frank and Willie (Meredith) Baumann.
She sold Amway and Electrolux Sweepers, and she also operated her own humane society out her home for 20 years
.
She served in the U.S. Marine Corps.
She was preceded in death May 13, 2006 by her devoted husband, Paul Maynard Farwell Sr., whom she married June 1954.
She is survived by her beloved children, Daniel (Melody) Ried Farwell of St. George, Utah, Paul (Jeanette) Maynard Farwell, Jr. of Salem, Rev. Frank (Anita) Cedric Farwell of Council Bluffs, Iowa, and Barbara Marie Farwell of Las Vegas, Nev.; her half brother, Clinton (Jill) Baumann of Florida, and her half sister, Mrs. Hanford (Kitty Catherine) O’Hara of Jacksonville, Fla; and four darling grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 15, 2008 at the Arbaugh Pearce Greenisen Funeral Home with her son, Rev. Frank Farwell officiating.
A time to visit with the family will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
