Forgive me but i have no idea on how to start or where to start. I am 23 yrs old and have never met nor have even seen a picture of my father. i have for years tried to picture his face, tried to imagine his face , his smell. But most of all why hed leave a child not even born yet. I mean i try not to judge because i have no idea his side of the story all i have is my mothers side. So i am sorry let me give you some details. My mother stems from anancortes, Wa there is a navy base located near there. My mother (Sharon Wallin) hung out there and met a man named John Campbell(not sure of the spelling) well according to her she met him they dated were engaged to be married had premarital sex. She got pregnant told him at wich point he practically disowned me left her and had a transfer to another base. Now beings that millitary records are sealed i have no idea where to start my search. my grandmother god rest her soul searched for years to find him. When we went back to washington to make all the arrangements for her passing. I stumbled across a address and phone number listed as John campbell. so i proceeded to call it, I reached a woman who got very enraged when i called and told me that i was trying to destroy a veterans life, I have no intention of ruining his life i want nothing more than to know why and medical history from his side so that my kids may have the info they may very well need. I mean ther is no worse feeling knowing your whole life you are a bastard and unloved by the father that made you. But worse than that is my 3 yr old son asking why his daddy has no daddy i mean what do you tell a 3yr old. I wont lie to him. I thank you for your time and understanding, Also do appoligize for my lack of words and overall writting. Its just that i have tried for years to express it and can never come up with the words. If you can give any advice on how to reach him, how to find him, where to start. I would greatly appricate it. I am however very tight on money and cant afford to pay for a people search.
