Thanks for the reply. I am positive on the birthdate for Woodrow Wilson (called Pete) Arthur, b. 14 Oct. 1916 Dallas,Tx. died 22 Nov. 1982 Dallas,Tx.
On the 1920 census (and I have never found one, but have the census index A636, Vol. 43, ED 52, sheet 17, Line 11.)Congress ST. Family 4207 . Obviously, I should have looked for Woodrow instead of John W.

John W. Arthur (head) is 35
Maude (wife) is 27
Jno.B.(J.B.) is 7
Arthur (This is Clyde James Arthur( b. 6 Feb. 1914) 6
Woodrow (W.W.) is 2-1/2 (MISTAKE)
Clifton (Clifford) is 2-1/2 b. 28 July, 1918
These last two boys were not born on same day.
It is a mystery to me as to the Purple Heart claim. I know it was on my parents wall. I know we took a wounded W.W. Arthur from the LeTourneau property converted to a military hospital and he stayed at our home for a bit. I have found the name of the hospital at that time, Harmon General, and it is no longer there and little information is available on it. Perhaps, the purple heart was not his? I do not know anything else about this uncle. He is deceased and had no issue.
But, thanks and will continue to seek this mystery.
