Scott,
What is it you are looking for. If it is a missing Georgia 1812 ancestor, he may not be recorded in a Georgia Militia. 3/4th of Georgia was Indian Territory at the outbreak of the War. There are over 15,000 recorded Georgia Militia volunteers recorded in the NARA, but a great number not recorded in the Georgia militia joined up with other State militias during the Red Stick wars.
If it is writting a Militia History. there are ways to accomplish the task.
