Early Georgia Milita records 1778-1820?
Patrick, have you had much luck with the county militia records for this period. My understanding is that in Georgia when a male reached the age of 15 he was required to register for the county militia. Is there a central location for these records at the state level perhaps? Or is it a county by county search. And have you had much luck in finding these records if they exist. Appreciate your help, Scott
