Surnames: Marshall, Hargrove
Were the various regiments for the GA militia formed based on geography? In other words, were all of the men in the 3rd Reg. Wimberly's from the same area? If so, is there a way to find out what general area the regiment drew from?
My ggg-grandfather Nahor MARSHALL was in Wimberly's Regiment, but that is the first time he shows up anywhere and I don't know anything about who his parents were.
