I was looking into finding a list of soldiers of the War of 1812 when I came across your posting of Georgia Volunteers. I thought it was odd that the person I am researching is Samuel Warden the Younger as he is called. He fought in the war in Adam G. Saffold's Company (December 1814 to May 1815) under Lt. Col Jones Battallion Detachment Georgia Militia. Samule was born april 1793 in Franklin County, GA. His father and Grandfather fought in the Revolutinary War and had come to the United States from Northern Ireland in 1771.
