I couldn't find any info for William Shatfor but I can tell the battle between the Constitution and the Java ony lasted one hour and fifty-five minutes, 60 were killed and 170 wounded,the Java was blowen up and the prisoners were taken to St. Salvadore, Brazils where they were parold and sent back to England.
