I don't know of an on-line info. But I was at Eudora Welty Library Wednesday. They do have a book on the War of 1812 Mississippi Militia. There is a Charnel and John Brent in the book.John Brent was a private in Colonel Claiborne's Regiment.Also A John Brent,who was a sergeant in 1st Regiment of Mississippi Volunteers. Private Charnel Brent, Private John Brent,Private Meredith Brent, And a Private Thomas Brent in the 13th Regiment (Nixon's) of Mississippi Militia. Hope this helps you out a little. I am Also interested in the Brent's. I am looking for a Lilly Mae Brent, who is a Granddaughter of Charnel Brent. Her father was John Wiley Brent who married a Rachel Collins, who I believe was from Raymond, Mississippi. I believe Lilly married a William Rutland, which would be my great grandparents. Any info you can give me would be appreciated.
