Lt. Col. Gilbert Howell's 39th New York; Captains; George Culver, Aaron Durfee, Bazilles Harvey, Gilbert Hinkley, and David White. 1081 soldiers are known to have served at various times in this Regiment. The following Corey's also served in this Regiment, Charles, Dennis, Isaac, and Peleg.
In running a 1810 census check on the Captains resulted in all the names, except for Bazilles Harvey, showing up in Ontario County, and he was listed on the 1820 census for Ontario County. Possibly there is further record of this Regiment in the Ontario County Histories, or Historical Society for this Regiment.
