Vivian & Glenicee,
I haven't had a lot of luck running this Regiment down, but here is some data that will assist in your search. The following is a list of Captains that served in the Lt. Colonel John Mcmahan Regiment; Moses Adams, Chester Barrows, Joseph Cone, James Mcmahan, Samuel Mcmath, John Sillsbe, Martin Tubbs, William Watson, and Ira Wilson. After trying to run down where they were from, the closest I could come was the Cayuga, Onondaga, Seneca, Ontario & Stuben area. A big area, but there was actually only two Captains that I could pin down to one County and that was Cayuga. I also located a Isaac Crabb in Cayuga County in 1810. Possibly one of thos Counties Genealogy Socities will recognize this Regiment and Colonel Mcmahan.
Patrick
