I have been searching for records of my great uncle in WW1. He was born in South Australia and apparently enlisted in Queensland? I have his newspaper notice of killed in action 1919 posted by his mother yet I have been unable to find ANY defence records of him anywhere in Australia.... any help would be very much appreciated. His name was Sydney Waldegrave Carver
