I seem to have hit a wall in my search about my grandfather, Clough Watson.
He served in the RN from 1911, the last I can find of him is him listed as a passenger on the ship Duchess Of Richmond, which was bound for Canada in 1940.
His address is listed as C/ Ministry of Shipping, and the ship had just been recommissioned as a troop carrier, so I am assuming he was still serving in the Navy.
After boarding that ship, I lose him. Can't find him returning to England, or staying in Canada, no death records that I can find n Navy records...I'm at a dead end!
