Hi David, accept my apologises for not responding you earlier, and thank you very much for your information about your father. Would you know if your father had Basque friends during the war years or if he kept in touch with them after?
Have you kept any memorabilia from your father's years in the war?
At the Center for Basque Studies, University of Nevada, Reno, we are trying to locate as many Basque, and Basque-Americans who serve during WWII in order to create the first collection of Basque-American in WWII, so if you would like to send us anything information that you may consider important, you are welcome to do it.
The address is Center for Basque Studies, University of Nevada, Reno, NV 89557; (775) 784-4854; Fax (775) 784-1355
