Col. Hunt was a great friend, a great guy, and did an outstanding job while volunteering with the San Diego Sheriff's Department when I was station commander in Poway from 1974-76. He was also my co-sponser when I joined Rotary in 1975, and we remained good friends until his death in 2003. Sandy never stopped living, even for a moment, and I could tell many fine stories about him. Doug Clements (OldLawman@cox.net)
