Hello everyone, I am looking to interview any survivors or realitives of members of the USAAF 22nd Material Squadron. I know that 28 men of this Squadron were killed during the attack of Pearl Harbor, my great uncle was one of them, James Rodman Johnson.
I do have quite a bit of information about that day but I would love to include any stories or memories about the Squadron to my great uncle's section of our family tree.
The full designation for the Squadron is as follows:
United States Army Air Corp.
Hawaiian Air Force, Hq & Hq Squadron
- 17th Air Base Group, Hq & Hq Squadron
- 22nd Material Squadron
Station: Hickam AFB, Pearl Harbor, Oahu, Hawaii
Casualty List: 28 KIA - 42 WIA*
