I am compiling a history of my grandfather in WWII (as best I can with info I am finding from outside sources since he died 12 years ago and my gram has dementia). I know he enlisted on Jan 28, 1942 at Fort Devens, Massachusetts. The record I found on Ancestry does not give his infantry.
I have a pretty good start with a history of Fort Devens itself but would like to include a history of my grandfathers infantry. Any clue how or where I could find this? Thank you.
