I'm not exactly sure where he is buried yet, I am pretty fresh in this relative's history hunt. I have filed a SF 180 and of course got the "burned alive" statement. I have found some pretty good resources, and found out quite a bit. His name was Andrew D. Bellis. He was a Private who served with the 23rd Armored Engineer Battalion, 3rd Armored Division until the day he was killed on 15 July 1944 in France, not sure in what town or how he was killed yet, the deceased personnel file might help with that, thanks for that resource by the way. I do have his serial number, just have to get it off my other computer, I will post it for you soon. Thanks again for all your help!
