What does "KODY" stand for?

Hi! I would be most grateful if someone could inform me of the meaning of KODY.

To put this into context, this designation is listed under the "status" of my husband's relative who died in World War II overseas. Under his status, the letters KODY are listed.

By comparison, the other designations listed under a soldier's status are as follows: POW; DOW; BS/PH (OLC); and MIA/BS. I know what POW and MIA mean, but not for any of the others.

Thank you in advance for your help!
