To Diane, Date: Aug 22,2001 from one vet to another. In browsing the WW2 msgs for the first time, I came across your fathers letter and it really saddened me, There must be a reason for such abject cruelty of men to men but it certainly isn't common knowledge, so many lives that never reach there potential, so much heartache that never ends. When will they ever learn - every man is my brother and every women is my sister. I am now 80 and I still cry when I think of what might have been.. .....
