My father, Harry GILMORE, and his brother, Jimmy GILMORE, also served on the USS Quincy in WWII. My father survived the sinking of the ship, but his brother, Jimmy GILMORE was killed when a Japanese torpedo hit the room next to where Jimmy was. My Dad, Harry GILMORE passed away April 16, 1997.
Is there anyone reading this who could take a photo of Jimmy GILMORE's marker in the Manila America Cemetery? His sister is very ill, and would love to see where her brother is memorialized. Thank you.
