Hi Bob,
Thank you for the suggestion. I went to the web site and did send them an e-mail asking if any of their members were on board the USS Maryland Nov.29,1944. Hopefully there are still some Navy Vets alive who remember this event. As My uncle did not have a family (wife and children), I tend to his grave, and try to keep his memory alive for the younger generation in hopes that one day someone will take over for me.
