If your still looking he’s also listed on the Veterans Affairs Canada database of Merchant Navy War Dead at http://www.vac-acc.gc.ca/general/sub.cfm?source=history/seco... , I believe that’s the department that will have any records, but before you contact them have a look at the information about Canadian records on this site [scroll about 2/3 down the page] http://members.tripod.com/~merchantships/index.html .
