Hello,

I adopted the grave of a WW2 private named Herbert
L.Carter.He's burried at the US cementery in Margraten The
Netherlands.

I checked the 1930 census .So far I have found:

Herbert L Carter
Born in 1908
Lived in Floyd,Georgia
was a pvt in the 23rd inf bn 7th armored div company c
nr:34263707
died april 14th 1945
burried in Margraten The Netherlands
enlistmentdate: march 9th 1942
He was married.

Father: Herbert E.Carter
Mother: Della Carter

8 sisters: Josie,Aline,Eula,Eunice,Mary G,
Roxie,Evie D,Faynel
1 brother: Hubert

They lived in Lindale,Floyd County,Georgia.
Herbert L.Carter was 22 in 1930 and worked in a cottonmill.


I want his family to know that I have adopted his grave
and will place flowers there on memorial day and Christmas
in his honor,and make sure his grave is in a excelent
condition.

Any help in finding his obituary,a photo or any information about
him in the newspapers or about his family would be greatly
appreciated.
