Obituary of Lieut. Evan D. McMinn, fighter pilot

Lieut. Evan D. McMinn:
Memorial services for Lieutenant Evan D. McMinn, fighter pilot with the Sixty-first Fighter Squadron of the Eighth Air Force, will be held at 8 p.m. Wednesday [9/5/1945] in the Pittsburgh Church of the Brethern, Lilac Street and Beechwood Boulevard. Lieutenant McMinn, who had been missing in action since June, 1944, was officially declared dead two months ago. Lieutenant McMinn enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1941. He was later transferred to the AAF. He leaves his parents, Mr. and Mrs. William T. McMinn, 744 Montclair Street; a sister, Mrs. Frances Patnik, and a brother, Seaman Second Class Robert McMinn
