JONES, Louise H. passed on November 15, 2011 at the age of 91.
She was born December 5, 1919 in Champaign County, Ohio.
"Beazie" as she was known to her family and friends, was the daughter of Charles Cletus Huddleston and Maude Marie McKeever.
Beazie graduated from Cable High School in 1937 where she was a member of the women's basketball team as were her sisters.

She served in the Women's Air Force (WAF) and Women's Army Corp (WAC) during WWII from January 1943 - November 1945 where she met and married her husband, Orville.

She was a member of the South Solon United Church of Christ for over 50 years. She served as a deaconess and church moderator for over 20 years.
Beazie remained active in her church and community until she suffered a stroke in 2006.

Beazie was the retired postmaster and long time resident of South Solon, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Annette Elaine Jones, in 1977 and her husband, Orville T. Jones, in 1989. She had been in Trinity Community Care Center, Beavercreek, Ohio since May 2008.
She leaves behind one son, Alan D. Jones and wife JoAnne of Springfield, Ohio; two daughters, Anita Louise Kuntz and husband Dan of Beavercreek, Ohio and Aletha Ann Jones of Columbus, Ohio; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She also leaves behind her sisters, Mrs. Jean Haggard of Urbana, Ohio and Mrs. Patricia Zacharias of Kitchener, Ontario, Canada and a host of nieces and nephews.

She and her surviving sisters are the last of a long line of Huddleston's from Champaign County, Ohio dating back to the early 1800's. Her great-great grandfather, Daniel Huddleston married Elizabeth Sills in Jackson Township, Champaign County February 27, 1823


Visitation will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Friday, November 18, 2011 at the INGLING WILLIAMS & LEWIS FUNERAL HOME in South Charleston, Ohio.
Funeral services will be held Saturday morning in the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor John Crutchfield officiating.
Burial will follow at the South Solon Cemetery. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.jacksonlytle.com.
