TALLMADGE, Ohio -- Betty J. Warehime (nee Fox), 86, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family.
Betty loved traveling the world with her late husband, Max, of 51 years. Playing bridge, gardening and watching her beloved Cleveland Indians were daily passions in her life.
She was a World War II Army Air-Corp Vet, 60 year member of the First Congregational Church of Tallmadge and belonged to: DAR, Tallmadge Garden Club, Women's Fellowship, and Ohio Gourd Society.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Richard and sister, Dorothy. She is survived by her son, James Warehime; daughters, Suzan (Whitney) Hale and Renee Warehime; grandchildren, Russell III (Laurie), Traci (Rob), Sammy, and Taylor; great-grandchildren, Kaitlin, Danielle, Russell IV, Landon, and Genevieve; sisters, Donna, Pauline, and Mary; and brother-in-law, Ralph (Grace).
Memorial service is at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 3, 2010 at the First Congregational Church of Tallmadge, with Rev. Dr. John Schluep and Rev. Matthew Wooster officiating. Interment will be at the Oakwood Cemetery, where military rites will be conducted by Ralph Huff VFW Post #1062. Visitation will be immediately following the service.
