CMSgt ELEANORE B. SEIDEL, USAF, Retired, age 87, of Stuart, Florida, formerly of Northfield, Ohio, died on Nov. 12, 2008. CMSgt Seidel served in the active Air Force for 23 years and as a member of the Reserves for seven years. She served in Germany and France during W.W. II and traveled extensively, on temporary duty, to Air Force installations in the Pacific during the Korean and Vietnam Conflicts. She was a Life Member of the VFW, DAV, AMVETS, AF Sergeant Association, the Retired Enlisted Association and a charter member of the W.W. II Women's War Memorial. CMSgt Seidel is survived by brother Ronald and devoted caring sister-in-law, Irene and was preceded in death by parents Clarence and Helen Seidel, and brothers Larry and Wesley. She also leaves nieces Patricia, Brenda and Carole, and nephews Ronald II, Larry, Edmund, Wesley Jr. and Jeffrey. The family suggests memorials be made to Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 SE Indian St., Stuart, FL, 34997. Friends will be received SUNDAY FROM 2-5 P.M. at JOHNSON-ROMITO, A GOLDEN RULE FUNERAL HOME, 99 W. AURORA RD., NORTHFIELD CENTER, OHIO 330-468-1443 where services will be held Monday, Nov. 17, 2008 at 11 a.m. followed by Military Honors at the Northfield-Macedonia Cemetery
