      <description>hi....a good start for findings your dads POW or war records is to use his national insurance number . The numbers in his NI number would have been his army serial number also check the prisoner of war records on here they are detailed , also the  swiss red cross (although they  takes their time) i hope this  helps  </description>

      <description>My Dad Thomas Partick Rooney from Glasgow Scotland was a POW.  He was in North Africa, Italy and then Germany. I would appreciate any info about these brave men.</description>
