I could use some advice from someone who has dealt with a problem like this...
I discovered my birth mother's name and address, and it was confirmed by a genealogical investigator. When the investigator contacted my bio mother, she wanted nothing to do with me. I have written to her twice in the last three years, asking just for some information on my biological father. I specifically noted that I am not looking for a relationship, but rather to trace my ancestry. She hasn't responded at all.

Is there anyone who has experienced this who eventually found success?
