female, Baby Girl Lewis-private adoption-adopted by Onis and Eleanor Stone. Birth mother is Dorothy Jean Carroll Lewis.She was married to Tom M. Lewis. Carroll is her maiden name. Her parents are Bertha Mae Fortner Carroll, and W. E. Carroll. My father was listed as unknown. I was born in Norton, Va., Wise County, at St. Marys hospital. Its my understanding that the adoption was never completed. My adopted mother remarried William Cass. Somehow my biological mother found out that I was living in bad circumstances, and tried to regain custody of me in 1966. At that time I was living in Bristol, Va. with William and Eleanor Cass.
