Looking for my mother's birth family. I do know that she had been found and she denied giving her daughter up, that would be normal for a woman giving a child up in 1941. I really need some health records due to my own health. I don't want to push into a family that isn't welcome to it.
What I do know is that the child was born at Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo, MI. on Feb. 27, 1941. Adopted to Mary "Louise" and John Henry Knoll. The adoption was thru Sisters of the Nazarene and that the adoption agency was in the basement of Borgess Hospital, and the final records signed when Patricia was about 6 months old. The birth mother has since passed away after being bed ridden and had lived on the east side of Kalamazoo, off of Riverview Dr.
