I am searching for a cousin that was given up for adoption. She was born Judith Ann Blackford on 12/19/62 at Maricopa County Hospital in Phoenix, AZ. Her adoption took place in Phoeniz, AZ about Nov 1963 by attorney Gerald Tupper. I was told her adopted parents names were James and Carolyn Ray. She also has a brother born sometime in 1964 also adopted my the same family, possible name given was Lee.

Hello - I just found out I was adopted a few weeks ago. From what I understand I was given up at 4 days old and had no name. Adoption was handled through Catholic Charities/Good Shepherd in Missouri. Parents were birth mom, age 19, Catholic, in college. Birth father age 21, no known religion, junior in college, athlete. Real Father

After my mother was divorced in the 50's, she remarried and her new husband adopted me and I got the name of Steusloff. All the names on the papers were changed to reflect the new name. My mother says she does not know or remember what my real father's last name was, especially since it was changed to a simpler 'Jeason' somewhere in his line. It is him that I would like to locate so I can find his real family name. All of this took place at the time in Michigan. If he is still alive, who knows where he is now and my mother can't help (or won't).

Finding my biological dad

I have been searching for my biological father, Fred Henry Jarred for the past 8 years, so far I have found nothing.
In 1972 he and my mother Betty Gwosdz, had me, Jonie Marie Jarred near San Antonio Texas in the Sam Houston Army Hospital. Not long after that they got a divorce. They met in the military, the Marines, in San Diego.

How do I start looking for my natural father? He was a Canadian serviceman based near Croydon, UK. I was born on June 9th 1942 in Croydon, UK and adopted after 6 weeks. My adoptive mother told me that my natural father was a French Canadian (air force I think) but was killed before he could marry my natural mother. His first name was Roger. My natural mother named me Roger after him (I was born Roger John Attenborough (mother's surname). My first name was changed on adoption to Michael. I have traced my natural mother but she has a form a dementia the only thing she could tell me on one occasion was that my father was killed by a bomb while in the UK.
I know I have a few clues but don't know where to start. Any help would be welcome.

I know this is a long shot but hoping someone can help my nephew's wife locate her birth father. They don't do computer so am trying to help. Will send any information to them. This is what I have been told.
The name of the person that is trying to locate her father is Mile' Catherine Mariner and she was born April, 13, 1974 in Somoa. The Mariner name is from a family that raised Mile'. Her mother was Mele "Mary" Tuiso'oga and she was from Somoa. Mele "Mary" Tuiso'oga died when Mile' was small.

The Birth father's name is Kenneth Dabbs and he was an American GI stationed in Hawaii in 1973. Think possiby he was in the Marines. Mele was in Hawaii when she got pregnant and returned to Samoa to have the baby. Is there any way to find Kenneth Dabbs or his famly that was a GI in Hawaii in 1973?
Any help will be appreciated. Mile' has health problems and would like to locate he father.

[There are only 133 possible bF vs. hundreds, if not thousands, of Sandra Stricklands.] Oh, wait, I think that I received my nonID from the state of Florida since the last time I wrote. [It took a year to get it!] It appears to be lifted directly from the bMother's OB chart, which I already had received from the OB back in the 1980s. Here's the info that it included that I had forgotten:- bMother had "beautiful red hair" [OB file actually just says light red, lol]- bMother had only one sibling, a younger brother- bMother's parents info - Father was 45 yrs old. Presbyterian. College grad. English-Welsh. Mother was 36 yrs old. No religion mentioned. High school grad. English-Welsh-Indian. - bMother had usual childhood diseases [measles, chicken pox, etc...] but no other health problems. To clarify initial posting, childs birthfather was not Dorothy's husband, even though she contended he was. The birthfather was someone (confirmed through Y chromosome analysis with childs sibling who has been located) that she had a brief relationship with. It is unknown if the birthfather was even aware of the pregnancy. As previously posted, he was reported to be in the Marine Corps most likely stationed in the Southern California area, in his early 20's and from Texas, possibly San Antonio.

I am searching for my natural mother, Edna (I do not know her last name). Evans was a family name.

Non-identifing information stated that she was of Irish-Cherokee Indian decent. Her parents died when she was a child and she was raised by her grandmother ( I believe this was somewhere in Ohio). After her grandmother died she went to an orphanage.

I was born Nov 1945 in Miami, Florida where she was living at the time and working as a cocktail waitress. She also held positions of elevator operator. She was dating/living with a merchant marine by the name of Noland M Ebanks. He was out to sea a lot and manager of bar helped her out a lot before and after I was born. (she only had a 7th or 8th grade education).

Edna could not afford to keep me on her own and gave me up for adoption so I could have a better life. I was around 6 months old when my adoptive mom got me. I was not actually adopted until almost 2 years old since my adoptive mother was a single woman.

My natural mother later was married and possible moved back to Ohio.

Evans may have been her grandmother's last name.

Looking for my mother's birth family. I do know that she had been found and she denied giving her daughter up, that would be normal for a woman giving a child up in 1941. I really need some health records due to my own health. I don't want to push into a family that isn't welcome to it.
What I do know is that the child was born at Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo, MI. on Feb. 27, 1941. Adopted to Mary "Louise" and John Henry Knoll. The adoption was thru Sisters of the Nazarene and that the adoption agency was in the basement of Borgess Hospital, and the final records signed when Patricia was about 6 months old. I am Edna, daughter of Ivor Steepin, Ira's brother. Ivor is dead. My brother, Ivor-Jay is dead. Ira and Ivor had a cousin who now lives in Sacramento; his name remains Feuerstein. Ira and Ivor were "adopted" by John Stupin ("Steepin"), altho it wasn't done by the book and the name they adopted, Steepin, was a misspelling of John's name (he was a 1st generation Czech, as far as I know, and came on the boat with the name "Stupinski." That is what I was told as a child. I am now retired (more-or-less), unmarried (tried it 3 times), and have no children. Ivor-Jay had one child, Lucas Jay Steepin; his whereabouts are unknown. He's in his late 20's by now.

I am Kimberley Ann, I was born FETH on Dec 18 1967 at St. Joseph's Hospital London Ontario Canada to my mother Mary Ann Feth (and later adopted by my mother's husband.)

My bio father, his family and my Godmother Barbara Davies RN are unknown to me. I was baptized by Father Joseph P Finn Dec 27, 1967.
I have one sister two years younger.
Last known address for my father was London Ontario Canada, King St.

I have my non identifying info already, and am actively searching after finding out his name in some old papers of my mothers.
I have my name on as many boards and registries as I have found, and would appreciate so very much any and all information about my birth family...and would be happy with details even if no contact is desired.

It is possible that my bio family is native, but that is not confirmed. It was also reported to me that my father was in the military and was discharged due to medical.

I find no record;father's name supposedly Ernest Edward Smith; husband said he was born in a catholic hospital and was baptized there. His mother was Ellen Hanson born in KS about 1905. Her father's obit had her as ellen cole of herrington KS (I think) around 1943. She had another son John in the 1930 census of Ellsworth KS. She left my husband with his grandfather and took John with her when my husband was 4.

Searching for any birth family of my husband, born in Greenfield, IN (just outside Indianapolis) on 4/6/65.

BM was Caucasian, brown hair/eyes, 21 y/o. Welfare handled adoption, and the caseworker told my MIL that the BM "was fairly heavyset".

Husband (and now our 2 boys) had crooked toes (just the one next to big toe on each foot), so maybe that's a trait someone recognizes here.
