My grandfather Donald Patrick Savage (Savink) was born to a Joe Savink (of Austria?) and Jessie Mac(Mc)Donald, (of Aberdeen, Scotland) He was born in 1933 and was given to the ward of Childrens Aid Society in Toronto Ontario with his sister and brothers, and was seperated from all of his siblings. He later met up for a couple of hours with them in ontario in 1955,but never kept in contact nor discussed the past! I am now searching for anything I can find on Jessie (from scotland, he thinks) and how she may have died, they were in Canada it appears when the children were born, they had 4 boys including one set of twins Paul & Eddy, Robert Joseph b. 1925, Donald b.1933 & Ronald 1934, anyone know anything about this particular family? It appears most of the kids originate now in Montreal of eastern Canada. I appreciate any help, not sure where to start! If you are one of these children please write soon, my grandfather would be so anxious to hear from you!
