I was hoping someone could tell me if it is possible to apply for an original birth certificate from Landstuhl Hospital. I am searching for a friend. His father (Mike Michealson) was in the Army and it is possible his mother (Ann or Anne) was too. He has been told that his mother had an affair and that Mike was not his biological father.
When the Michaelsons returned to the States, they lived in CA. Maybe around Sacramento. They eventually divorced. My friend was adopted at 18mos by his babysitter. It is possible he has an older sister. His adopted parents will give almost no information even though his daughter was born with severe medical problems.
He was born Ronald Lee Michaelson.
His name was then changed to Lawrence O'Neal Tonkin.
Then changed again when his adoptive mother divorced and remarried to Harley Suzor Jr.
I am not sure of the spelling of the name Michaelson.
I would be very grateful for any help or suggestions anyone could offer.
