I am trying to learn more about my grandfather who was killed in Cork in 1956. It has come to light that he was adopted but I have now hit a brick wall! It appears to have been a well kept secret and I am unable to find any info relating to his birth parents, would you have any suggestion as to where I could go next?? He was born in 1933 in Eire, quite probably Cork.
